A Prince for Christmas A Short Story Royal House of Leone Book 2 edition by Jennifer Lewis Contemporary Romance eBooks
Ok, there was no true cliffhanger - but there really was no ending either. [Spoiler alert:] instead what we get is an introduction about how these two characters met ... with the clear pending follow-through left out. Ouch. I feel a bit snookered. The blurb didn't imply anything like that. I'm nevertheless giving this 3 stars and the characters were engaging and the writing well done, but I can easily understand others giving no more than two stars due to being annoyed by the non-ending. To make it worse, from the reviews it appears that the nice book also does not end with a HEA for these two characters. I'd have bought that book if I thought it had the HEA. I'm not buying it since it doesn't appear to. Too bad. This is an otherwise talented writer who I suspect I'd enjoy if she wrote complete books. I won't be risking that and I'm annoyed to be in this position.Product details

A Prince for Christmas A Short Story Royal House of Leone Book 2 edition by Jennifer Lewis Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was cute, light, and fun. The prince is such a charmer and I am looking forward to reading the next book. I only wish it were a little longer.
This book stops abruptly at 75 percent and is all advertising excerpts of other books and the sequel to this story. I still gave it a two star rating as there were few errors and it was decent, but The length was misleading as it was much shorter than advertised.
This story plot did not hold my attention. It was a predictable story line. Sandro just did not have much personality and neither did Serena. I can see her being embarrassed by her fiance dumping her and she not wanting to be around family. Everything else in the story did not do it for me.
Serena was blogger that her boyfriend broke with her. She went somewhere alone where she couldn't go home to her family alone. It is raining and someone walks into the house and she hits him with a vase. It is Prince Sandro, he asked the owner for the house cir him and his 2 friends that didn't show up. They ending the house together because of the storm and fireworks was going off between them both
Not a,bad story, it's just that if you're going to write a book, WRITE A BOOK. I hate reading a story just to get to the "end" and find they are only wanting you to buy another "chapter". Just write the whole book! I don't bite on these because who knows how many you have to buy to get the whole story. Disappointing.
SENSUALITY RATING YES Profanity (very mild, not a distraction from the plot; YES sexual encounter (Mild, acceptable)
GENRE Current day Romance; Romance; Biracial Romance
SETTING Rented beach house
CENTRAL FEMALE CHARACTER SERENA RAINES – African America best-selling author; Persistent
CENTRAL MALE CHARACTER - SANDRO LEONE – from Europe; persistent; royalty; great cook
SYNOPSIS She never expected a raging storm. Her fiancé was no more. A raging storm did not matter. He had his own issues. He found her a challenge since she did not want him disturbing her peace.
WHAT I LIKED Rescue of the dog.
WHAT I DID NOT LIKE Is she an easy lay?
OVERALL RATING (3) stars because I really enjoyed his persistence and lucky he was there for her. Well written and could have had a more interesting ending. “Stormy” damsel in distress. Not a particular plot because the reader knew where this was obviously going
A Prince For Christmas is a short story where we meet Serena Raines, a lifestyle guru, and Sandro Leone, a playboy Prince. They end up spending Christmas riding out a winter storm in each other's arms. I loved seeing their first meeting. I can't wait to see what happens next. These characters are charming. They are good together. Their relationship developed swiftly and was intense. I felt their connection and wanted it to be more than a holiday fling. I can't wait to see what happens next.
